Event Title: “Webinar: Exploring AI Technology”

On May 26, 2024, the webinar explores AI advancements, practical applications, and future potential across industries. Guest speaker, Earlmond Ross Lee, a former Senior Software Engineer at Accenture Inc., Foresight Interactive Solutions, and Systems Administrator at Baypointe Hospital Medical Center, will discuss AI's transformative impact and provide insights from industry experts.

 

II.             Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)

According to my understanding of AI, algorithms and vast volumes of data are the foundation of AI systems' operation. Artificial Intelligence is used in every application we use on a daily basis. From tailored suggestions to virtual assistants, AI is easily incorporated into our daily activities to increase productivity and convenience. AI is causing major changes in a number of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, and finance. These changes are increasing productivity and creativity in these sectors. However, there are issues with AI, such as potential employment effects, prejudice in algorithms, and ethical considerations. In the future, artificial intelligence will have a huge influence on how technology enhances human talents, promotes innovation, and solves global issues.

 

III.           Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the seminar input on a practical level (practical application of learning)

With that understanding, I can put it into practice for my machine learning project, which involves interacting with the image and identifying it to provide a result.

Therefore, it's quite practical to use, and the webinar has applications for that as well.

 

IV.           Positive feedback (on the event organization)

The organization of the event was superb. The topics were presented in a way that allowed for easy reading, and the interactive Q&A sessions and resources for further study made for a delightful and enriching experience. Excellent audio and visual quality, along with well-managed technology, guaranteed a smooth and uninterrupted learning environment.

 

V.              Suggestions for improvements to be made/ consider for future activities

The webinar went well, although it could have been executed more skillfully. Future exercises might benefit from having additional resources to facilitate lifelong learning as well as more advanced subjects for individuals who might already be familiar with them. By adding case studies or live demonstrations, for example, to the presentation framework, you may pique participants' interest even more.

Event Title: “Company Visit at Wistron”

 I. Details of the event/activity We got the chance to take part in an electronics company tour at Wistron during this event. During the visit, we took part in a guided tour where we were given valuable insights into the company's operations and procedures. The corporate representatives gave us a thorough overview of Wistron's operations by walking us through numerous elements. II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings) We got really useful information about how to handle and repair electronics from the Wistron Company during our tour. We discovered throughout the tour how carefully they inspect and fix the things that are sent to them.
