Event Title: “Principles and Fundamentals of Animation”
I. Details of the event/activity
On May 28,
2024, at Room 508, Gordon College. I had to attend to the Seminar
called “Principles and Fundamentals of Animation” by two resource speaker Linkel Rae L. Lee, and Prestian Mark L. Lee, both are animators from KAMBALLEE. With the topic that they present are the “Mastering the Principles and Fundamentals of 2D Animation”, Demonstration to create an Animation Using “Toon Boom”, and showcasing their work like their own upcoming show in an episode title “Nightmare Creep”.
II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)
The Seminar is very interesting, it uses all of the technique of animation, and how animation works, from the simple movement to advance details. It also understands the concept movement in a very artistic way, and the way how they animate from scratch using the program “Toon Boom” is very easy to use.
III. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the seminar input on a practical level (practical application of learning)
The seminar is how I understand animation works. It inspires me to create one, from beginner to master the basic, intermediate, and advance. Maybe someday if I got entered into the industry, I strive for it with passion.
IV.
Positive feedback
(on the event organization)
The organization of the event was
superb. The topics were presented in a way that allowed for easy reading,
and the interactive Q&A sessions
and resources for further
study made for a delightful and enriching experience. The well-managed technology components guaranteed a smooth
and constant learning environment.
V.
Suggestions for improvements to be made/ consider for future activities
The seminar should have been done better; it was a bit rough and had some technical issues, especially toward the conclusion. Future exercises might benefit from having additional resources to facilitate lifelong learning as well as more advanced subjects for individuals who might already be familiar with them. By adding case studies or live demonstrations, for example, to the presentation framework, you may pique participants' interest even more.
