IRCITE – Breaking Barriers and Empowering Change Through Global Innovation, Knowledge, Engineering, and Diversity-Centered Research

     I.                Details of the event/activity

On March 8, 2024, at the Wesleyan University in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. I had the honor of attending the International Research Conference on Information Technology Education or IRCITE for short, with the topic of all Multiple Topics from all cutting-edge innovations, emerging technologies, and research presentations by students and professors.

II.             Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)

I gain more knowledge about the current status of innovation in every technology from presentations made by instructors and students—some of whom are even from Singapore—who aim to inspire students to enroll in their institutions by showcasing their accomplishments. There are many things to choose from and much to present during the event.

III.           Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the seminar input on a practical level (practical application of learning)

All of the topics that I known of like Algorithms, Computer Graphics and Animation, Machine Learn and Computer Vision etc. but each of them is presented differently and all of them are unique and innovative and to make it practical and easy to use, and it might use it as a reference for the future.

IV.           Positive feedback (on the event organization)

Everything about the event is fantastic. It was fun to watch, especially the dancing. I can provide entertainment for certain services. For example, I was allowed to sketch a WACOM drawing screen table in one of the booths. We had a terrific meal that gave us energy for the rest of the day. Additionally, the raffle and gifts met expectations. The emcee was outstanding as well.

V.              Suggestions for improvements to be made/ consider for future activities

For the upcoming events, it would be great if lanyards and T-shirts were distributed equally to all attendees. Some students weren't there the last time. Let's make sure we start and end on time and adhere to the schedule. This is noteworthy as a number of us are foreign nationals and some of us have temporary rental cars. If you arrive on time, everyone will be able to prepare more effectively and prevent scheduling conflicts.
