RAITE – AI Nexus: Convergence of Technology and Human Ingenuity
I.
Details of the event/activity
On October 20, 2023, at
the Angeles University Foundation Sports and Cultural Center in Angeles City,
Pampanga, I had the honor of attending the 6th Regional Assembly on Information
Technology Education (RAITE 2023) With the topic "AI Nexus: Convergence of
Technology and Human Integrity," the Philippine Society of Information
Technology Educators - Central Luzon (PSITE-CL) arranged this event, which
prepared the ground for an extensive talk about the relationship between AI and
moral principles. The primary focus of the event was the interplay between
software and hardware that resembles human beings. It made staying up to date
on current events easy for both IT educators and students.

Reflections on the webinar/activity
give rise to (learnings)
I learn more about the
state of IT technology in our nation and how to make the most of the tools at
our disposal to improve the quality of our job thanks to this event. The
program also highlights how technology is changing education and how that will
affect how we learn.
III.
Reflections on possibilities on
implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (practical
application of learning)
Since
editing and illustrating designs is one of my main hobbies and skills, I wanted
to put the knowledge and advice I had learned throughout the event to use. In
particular, the way the ADOBE app was demonstrated really piqued my interest.
This event helped me a lot to know that there are many well-known apps that can
support me in pursuing my interests.
IV.
Positive feedback (on the event
organization)
The
entire affair is a triumph. Watching was entertaining, especially the lip-sync
fight. Given that some contestants were struggling with sleepiness at the time
of the pageant competition, it was an excellent icebreaker. The lunch was great
and provided us with energy for the remainder of the day. The raffle and prizes
were also satisfactory. The emcee was also excellent.

Suggestions for improvements to be
made/ consider for future activities
It
would be fantastic for the next events if everyone received equal distribution
of event swag, such as T-shirts and lanyards. Last time, some students were not
present. Let's also make sure we follow the schedule and begin and end on time.
This is significant as a few of us are from various countries, and several of
us have short-term car rentals. Everyone will be able to better plan and avoid
time constraints if you arrive on time.
