Event Title: “Setting Up Booth in the Acquaintance Party 2023”
I. Details of the event/activity
- The 2023 Acquaintance Party was a Gordon College event that was often a casual gettogether of people. Forms of this event include unofficial meet-ups and themed events. There are booths, cosplays, games, music, dancing, food, and models present at these events. An acquaintance party's goal is to promote a sense of community and aid in the casual and joyful introduction of people to one another. The CSS Faculties and Councils organized the event, which took place on September 29, 2023, in Marikit Park, which is near to SM Olongapo Central. Our team, "KOMsOS," is a part of the "Late O' Clock Lemonade" booth, where we offer lemonade for a low price.
II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)
- My reaction of this event is to be fun, everyone from the school to gather here and having a good time. It had entertainment like music, dancing, games, or performances, attendees might reflect on the fun they had and the entertainment value of the event. It has some Themes and Decorations but the park is clean friendly so there is no liters in any sight or right around the corner, and each booth had a specific theme or unique decorations, attendees might reflect on how these elements added to the overall experience and atmosphere.
III. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the activity input on a practical level (practical application of learning)
- I discovered how to set up and run the lemonade booth at the acquaintance party, and I realized how appreciative my team was to assist with running the booth. Usually, I make a lot of lemonade sales in the park, and both the customers and I profit from it. Which I comprehend that this event aids me in seeing that our booth, in this time and location, is a simple and approachable business model that instructs aspiring business owners in the fundamentals of product development, pricing, marketing, and customer service. Even though it's frequently a brief and modest endeavor, it can teach important lessons about financial responsibility and entrepreneurship.
IV. Positive feedback (on the event organization)
- Overall, it was a good time, and I enjoyed myself with my teams, which was completely different from the other events, in my opinion.
V. Suggestions for improvements to be made/consider for future activities
- As the team's leader,it should bring up the necessity for planning and organization before the event and how it will help and serve the people who need it so that we can improve in the future.
